I understand that (both the radio situation and the gas situation). Sounds like the sheriff supports you all they can, anyway. I always liked having a radio. It has enabled me to help an officer or two out in the past, when I was a block away, and their nearest backup was ten minutes away. It is amazing how things always go to crap just when everyone in the county is busy with something!
