My 1987 climate change theory is that reglaciation can happen in as little as 5 years. Once conditions are ripe, a random extra snowfall will cause extra reflection of incoming sunlight, which will cause cooling, which will precipitate more snow, which will cause more cooling, more clouds will form as more air reaches the dew point, causing more reflection and more snow will fall and that feedback loop will cause a cooler summer and therefore an earlier autumn snowfall which will start the feedback loop again.

The first winter would be just an extra cold one with more snow than normal. The second winter after a cool summer would be a bit of a ripper with extended snowtime. The third winter would come almost before summer had finished. The following summer would have snow throughout, where previously all the snow would have melted. The fourth winter would see the permafrost line moving south quite forcefully and people would be very curious about what was going on and how extensive the cooling would be.

The natural state of climate is oscillations, not stable "balance" as the Alarmists assert. The natural state of nature in general is periodicity.
