The Amazon River starts as a trickle in the Andes of Peru and flows to the Atlantic a distance greater than that of New York to Paris . It flows into the bowl that is the Amazon Basin and flows at its very bottom collecting water from every tributary along the way to become the largest River on the Globe . After travelling 4000 miles it pushes out into the Atlantic 60 times more water than the Nile . It makes the Mississippi look like a creek . It is truly some thing to see and is like the Giant Tree in Mexico ( near Mexico City ) that is pictured with over 100 school children encircled it by holding hands , beyond what we ever could imagine . Down the side of that bowl and closer to the bottom than the top is the Machado ridge/claims . Syn and Anticlines running say 10 to 15 degrees NW to SE . Wild and deadly to the unwary or uneducated . The old Dept of Mining thought the land so valuable as to be considered a National Treasure . The split is of interest to investors and we should know shortly . Some time close to the 15 of July .
