Well, we just don't know when we will become extinct. An individual (or a species) lives for a day (think certain flies)--or 50,000 years--no difference. It is all the same length on the last day.

Let me add to that to make it clear! I cannot even put into exponention notation how many INDIVIDUAL lives have died (forget about about gazillion sperms with a poor backstroke who die every 50 feet over the earth every hour or two)!

A sperm is no different from you or me. We are just better educated. -g-
