I remember thinking the 7-inch form factor was DOA as well.... but that was before the Retina display (and also before I did things like watch flix on my tiny iPhone while waiting in bars). After watching AAPL cannibalize themselves into total domination all over the price landscape with the iPod, I can't really argue against an attempt to do the same with tablets... -- Pete
