Actually, at this Nokia moment in time, I'm reminded of a very old Russian joke.
Everyone in the House of Warship, praying like mad, for the Horrific Czar to DIE!
Up front, little old lady, praying, "Please let him live, PLEASE!"
Outside, afterwards, the crowd surrounds her and demands to know:
"BABUSHKA! WHY are you praying for that BAD CZAR!?"
Replies she, humbly, whispering, "Because the next one will be worse."
Elop the Czar has a plan. The plan is called Microsoft Windows 8.
