Weakness of Europeans is that they don't know each others countries. German neighbor on the South, doesn't know neither have the interest to know how Germany works and what uderlies the standing of the country. Without that knowledge, they're left with the knowledge of the façade that Germany puts up to export and the stereotypes. Had a Greek known what underlies the Germany economy, he would certainly be positioning himself differently. Compare that One guy from California knows very well the guy from the west coast. can vote for the same guy and are all fed the same stuff by the US nation-state. They shared all: the good, the bad and the ugly. Same applies for us here: A Brazilian Gaucho from the Uruguay border knows well what a guy from Pará in the Amazonas is about. That's why Europe will never work as a entity: Because it is not a Nation-state and its constituents' populations do not see their neighbors as their equal who share: the good, the bad and the ugly.
