Well we can only hope that Phils have become the jewel in the profits. viewers department of Comcast they will do what RedSox and Yankees do when they age and/or injury plagued start to crumble--cut their salary cap down so they than go shopping again, as they run salary cap to overflowing again.
i will NOT place any blame on management otr Charlie, luck is, and always has been a major part of Baseball--the game on INCHES--the game of superstar goes down , tough luck-now the media gets into a frenzy of throwing tomatoes at you because TheMedia are not Fans, they just exaggerate every moment to sell products.
What happened to Phils, simply the fickle finger of mindless fate--they got hit by a Major Sh-- Storm, so bad it is they may break the record from swing depth of swing down in wins in one year--we are on a pace of a win of down 80!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. i think that would be surely an alltime MLB record.
They reached the point of no hope at all for this season, they are officially done, they would have to win 12 in a row just to get to .500.
My only complaint is with Dubee---he should know by now that when Bastardo gets to quick outs and then walks a man and then give up a hit---GET OUT OF THE GAME FAST---
In terms of youth future, a lot rides of DeFratus(they are very high on him for their set-up pitcher supposed to join team after allstar break)and Galvis.
Absolutely no news on Stutes injury.

i have NO problm with SELECTIVE BOOING at games, in other words, when the Crowd BOOOOOOED Bastardo as he left the field----he deserved it.
As far as i know Lidge career is over--how fast it ends for an ReliefPitcher when he loses it they never seem to get it back.
Kimbrel for Braves i think now has 25 saves --he had what 48/50 last year, ?. Just a kid, but 3 years from now he could well be finished--- Papelbon, another, throwing at 94-97 for over 7 years now.
