As one who sinfully broke up a marriage and cost my children both parents at home (hindsight doesnt help much when the damage cant be repaired:my children are lovely young adults now but should have grown up with their dad too), I can attest to the fact that many many people, if their priorities were right, would have a parent at home with children, at least until school age, and after school after that. My neighborhood is somewhat rural and I see so many wonderful couples opting out of material goods so a parent can stay at home and truly bring up the child(ren) without someone else's values. The "warehousing" of children, whether it offends people or not, is not good for them.
