Certainly is a beautiful day!
We have been blessed with great weather. Hot the day we left - it was 90 in Ontario, OR - but then by nightfall cooled off. Most days have been high 70s and low 80s. Got a little rain in Aspen last night. Nothing we couldn't wait out eating dessert from the Paradise Bakery under a kiosk roof. Aspen's changed a lot since I was last there in 1987 (and certainly from the last time in 1978). Carpool lanes into town in the am and out in the evening. All the electricians, masons, plumbers, carpenters, hotel workers, restaurant workers, etc., who can't afford to live there have to get to work y'know.

Not so sure about Basalt either. Get this - there is a Whole Foods Market opening in Basalt in August.

Stopped for a sandwich at Subway in Edwards. That seems like a nice location and there is plenty good skiing nearby. You might put it on your list of places to check out.
