I also expect Apple to significantly out-spec the Nexus 7 for about the same money, otherwise I could see them not selling very well at all (by Apple standards). And if you think the market is giving AAPL a too-low PE multiplier now, just wait until they release a dud. ;)
I believe you are going to be disappointed, then. Or rather, you'll be disappointed at first.

Even with their tight supply chain, Apple isn't going to be able to sell a 7" full-featured tablet for $199 at a profit. Google can't sell even the stripped down Nexus for a profit at that price.

IF Apple releases it, I think an Apple iPad with all the same features we see in the big ones, but a smaller (high resolution) screen, will sell very well at $299. Once you see that I'm right about that, you'll stop being disappointed. ;-)
