My biggest complaint is that the battery power does not last long. We started running out of power last night after 1.5 days of use. It is not really a problem as I have a generator, but I am planning to hook up another battery to extend the useful life of the house batteries. Fridge is running on gas the past few days and keeping everything a nice 38 degrees. My Klondike Bars in the freezer haven't melted either.

ok, what would you do for a klondike bar???

solar panels?

<gg>

seriously, i've been reading up on alternatives to the generator, if you do a google search on solar panels/RV conversion, you will find a LOT of how to's and recs....also converting the 12 volt lights to led's....ideally i would like to be able to boondock with an RV using little or no generator....so this is something i am looking into

this is just the type of niche market that solar is excellent for pursuing

heck at least you have a 'twin'....we split off into queen bed vs. j-sofa!....there is an inflatable bed, but it is a PITA to open, so the j-sofa it is

i'll bet the girls are having a blast having all the 'creature comforts' yet out in the 'difficult camp' ...lol
