Is Nokia (NOK) to enter a Smartphone Joint Venture with China Mobile (CHL)? MONDAY, JULY 9, 2012 sierraworldequityreview.blogspot.gr Sierra World Equity Reiew ventures that in an attempt to try to gain ground upon it's two primary smartphone competitors in China, Nokia may enter into a joint venture with China Mobile. This would be HUGE for Nokia as they currently have only approximately 11% of the gargantuan Chinese market compared to Apple (AAPL) who has around 17% and Google with their android that has roughly 69% of the market. China Mobile is the world’s largest wireless operator by the number of subscribers, with over 650 million subscribers...DO THE MATH...it will make you head spin and certainly make the share price of Nokia scream UPWARDS.
