We were back in '00 and the whole place looked different. Basalt has become very kitchy and upscale. When we lived there it was nothing more than a little cowboy town. And we saw how hwy 82 had been widened and how busy it was while driving around. If I were ever to move back to that area I'd live a lot further down valley and take the bus in to go skiing.
