The longest we've gone without power is 5 days. We have a generator, and it ran all of the necessary things............like the fan on the gas fireplace. We were quite cozy, and it was fun to be without TV, and play card games and tell stories instead. My sister was living in an apt in town at the time and ended up coming and staying here. It was neat to have her here.
