All,
Just want to let you know i am now using a IERC 61475CB heatsink/fan and it is a monster! It is barely warm to the touch, a huge change from the undersized peltier cooler i had which got to hot to touch.
I purchased it for $23.95 plus real shipping cost from Tom Mosher at;
sdsmark.com
The heat sink itself is 1.45" tall and with the fan the whole unit is 2.45" in height.
Tom Mosher is a very reputable person to work with too. I pinched off a center tab on my mustang 534F motherboard and he sent me 2 thermalloy clips (they use the outside tabs) for no charge.
Unfortunately, they are out of stock until 12/1 but get your order in early, I was lucky enough to purchase one that someone ordered and then cancelled.
One down side, the fan is huge and a little noisy. Fuchi, this cooler is definitely not for you. I'm sure it is too loud. But does it keep my 6x86 cool!
Thanks to Fuchi for letting me know I may be overheating my cpu with the peltier cooler. You were right!
Feel free to email me if you have questions. see my profile

p.s. i am not affiliated with SDS Mark II nor do i know Tom Mosher or anyone affiliated with his company. Just want to let you all know of a good vendor.
