We need to remember that all of this uproar every election is about the ten percent of the voters in the middle. The only difference with the other ninety percent is getting them motivated for turnout. What we call Socialism is considered wonderful benefits by the Left. I don't think the word means anything to the Independents. Our school system has neutralized the word Communist and basically made the kids as far left as they can. My biggest hope are what we call the "Ron Paul" voters. These 20 somethings are really Libertarians. They, plus the "Tea Party" types are still coming on strong. I am contemplating starting up a REAL Tea Party movement here. Set up a non-profit org under some open title similar to "Tea Party Republican," and going after the school system to get it off the ground. I would record some 15 minute infomercials to put on youtube, with a pitch to a web site where they can donate. Go "Isaiah" all over their ass. Real thunder from the mountaintop. "The end of the Hawaii is coming." Since our school system is tenth in spending and forty ninth in results, it's open season. The key here would be to ignore the Left until the 2014 election and take over the Republican Party here in the meantime. Which is pathetic. Goal would be to get control of the State committee. We have about 11 reps in the local Gov out of about 60. They are all "Get along, go along, RINOS." Might as well have none, for all the good they do. Their big goal is to get 13 reps this election. NO compromise with these types. All or nothing. Otherwise it's a waste. I am an excellent public speaker and could make some great videos. A real "Shock Jock." If I lucked out and hit into some money, I would put together some 30 minute infomercials and start running them in likely districts, then State wide when the money came in. I think about 10% of the population would be vote for that kind of program now. Can I build it to +50%? Time will tell. My number one question is, "Is my health and my energy level up to the job?" I will decide that as I explore how to do this. It's all about money raising.
