Atin, My reference to you being a "sleuth" was not in Jest, you seem very Knowledgable and I thought that you had ferreted out information in reference to scalability. Atin, you wrote: It takes 4 FTEL boards to do what 1 NMS board does for example.Most industrial chassis have maybe 16 slots. That gives FTEL less room to scale in one chassis and if they can go to multiple chassis, so can the competition. Does this mean that FTEL is not capable of using a board the size of NMSS's? Does this mean that the NMS board does Not take up as much space as the FTEL board in the same chassis or the 1 NMSS board =4 FTEL boards, and has 4 times the capability of 1 FTEL board? Would it be possible to duplicate the fucntion+size of NMS's board without compromising proprietary designs? If so How long could/would that take? If indeed FTEL wanted to capture some of the "industrial" market, or is that not feasible or possible? I pose these questions, redundant tho they may seem because, I am not a technician and my feeble mind is trying to understand how, apart from size, FTEL could not or would not be able to go after this market If my prose seemed offensive, I apologize here and now.
