My last use of a pistol to good effect left me immediately sympathetic to Zimmerman. The object of my attention may have been seventeen. Couldn't tell. He was wearing a balaclava helmet and approached on a bike, hollering threats to my person. I stepped behind a phone pole as he got off and started to approach. When the punk realized he was looking down the bore of a .45 things went quiet. After a brief interlude he accepted my invite to remount and get the F lost. Don't truly know, but suspect Zimmerman may have been in a similar situation. Poor devil was tried and convicted with the initial reportage. Given his treatment I can understand why he might have considered flight. Whatever, I hope justice is done, but am suspicious.
