PE ratio based on 32 3/8 with .77 earnings is 42.0

PE ratio based on 32 3/8 with .89 earnings (that is what it will be if IOM meets estimates of .31 this qtr) would be 36.4

It seems to me that the "street" (I hate that term) has been willing to give IOM a PE of about 40 for the last few qtrs.

If IOM meets estimates a PE of 40 would put the price at 35.50

Question:

Is the fact that IOM has been trading at slightly over the PE of 40 for the past couple weeks a function of:

a. The street assuming earning estimates will be met and buying before it reaches PE of 40 for earnings after this qtr.

b. With the announcements and expectations for new products, is the "street" now going to allow a higher PE for the next couple qtrs.

c. Something else?
