Winning this election is critical, and if the Rs move too far to the right they're going to kill their changes with independents. That would be a serious mistake. I think Rice is a good choice for that reason if no other The Republican establishment wanted Romney because he would lure independents. Who then energizes the base which is far more conservative? Rice?? You got to be kidding. So Rice guarantees 48 states? Why don't you hold out for 57? You're dreaming man. If Romney picks Rice and loses........the Republican party is finished PERMANENTLY.......and should be.
