irby, thanks for the answers. Do you think you can succeed if I pick 10 random stocks and you have to daytrade using only those stocks? The reason for my question is a simple thought. I guess I am a long term investor, probably more on the FA side than the TA side, though I use both for decision making. I am wondering if I can wear both hats, long term investor and day trader, using exactly the same stocks that I have already spent a lot of time researching. Ramsey
