I didn't say he should threaten him. But if your gun is always going to stay hidden till you're attacked, a lot of people are going to get shot that would have never started an attack ... and I know real life examples. This Zimmerman case is exactly what they warn can go wrong if you have to use a gun legally to defend yourself. Wait a minute there. Zimmerman did what you say people are supposed to do. He didn't brandish a weapon, it stayed hidden. He didn't pull the gun till his life was threatened. Then he killed the attacker.
