After restoration of automobiles, you have to learn how to drive to make sure autoparts can last longer.

This is a practice that prevents loss of liquids, and keep autoparts temperature lower if possible, because higher temperature helps to oxidize metals and rust away faster.

Liquids for automobile generally are sold with sealers to prevent leakage. They can do some repair where gaskets started to leak liquids.

But, if you want to save your battery beyond 5 year life, you have to only use battery for starting the engine, and charge up fully everyday for 15 minutes of idling. If battery runs down, overcharge may boil away some acid and shorten 5 year life to 3 years. then some too.

Brakes can be applies by pumping the paddle. Which cools the brake pads after short strokes. Prevents disk rotors from rusting badly.

Aerodynamics technology can help to cool brakes.

Muffler temperature can be lowered to last longer than 4 years, if you use octane 89 instead of regular gas(87). Replacement mufflers have not added cooling fins to slow down high temperature oxidation(rust).

Aerodynamic air flow paths can be making the next generation car designs last much longer in service free maintenance.
