While that may be a pleasant fantasy for the Romney supporters, everything up until Labor Day is just inside baseball. Presidential elections are like thoroughbred turf races, the real running doesn't start until the top of the stretch. In a race this close the outcome may well be decided by weather on election day, or luck, despite the merits, or lack thereof, of the candidates.
