I didn't. I've been disappointed before, by Bill Clinton. I hoped for great things, but wasn't surprised when they didn't happen, especially given the current (R) opposition and conditions following W. Given those conditions, Obama would have needed to be a genius far surpassing FDR or TR.

To "expect" great things is naive and unfair.
