To All, TERADYNE INC. said reports circulating of a delay in its orders were false. Tom Newman, vice president of corporate relations, said "There are two reports. One is that there has been a cancellation. They are absolutely not true. The other is that there has been a delay in an order forecast for this quarter." "All we said was that given the chaos in (South) Korea, it would not be prudent to guarantee that business would be exactly on track.
