Restoration of over 12 years old cars will create jobs in the US.

Currently these cars are contributed to charity organizations and sold to junk auto yards and resold for about $2500.

Then restoration service organizations may install new tires, battery, brakes and tuneup the engine to make them usable for another 70,000 miles service free. Most of these cars are good for 1 million mile life, engine wise. You have to select the cars without much rust. Then wash and use liquid wax to protect the fenders from rusting.

Liquid addition must be purchased from Walmart, to stop any leaks. And gas tank needs a gas treatment to get rid of water separation if necessary.

Cost of restoration self managed may be around $2000, amortized over five years of service free driving.
