John, yes, I am sorry too. It was a lengthy (you know I am good at that. gg) commentary about this world situation and if we don't put our helping hands out to everyone that gets into trouble, partly their own fault, we will be alright. I think Japan has enough ways to get out of this situation and they will be allowed to borrow. But just to give everything away in order for them to feel no pain should be out of the question. I am talking here about this whole Asian thing. Let them get out of it like we had to do many times. I can't see where we will be hurt that much. Our exports have not been up to par with the rest of the world. In the long run this could be to our advantage. Every time someone mis-manages , someone else will gain. Maybe it is our turn to gain. I have been saying, it feels like forever, that Dell and CPQ will give us great returns. Intel should too. Dell said they will go totally to PII. I have been mentioning over and over that it will be the good techs, telecomm., drugs and financials that will get us to the 21st century. Tech is the future no matter in how much trouble some countries will get. If they want to keep up with the world and not sink lower, they will need tech. I was telling you in my post that I am ready to tap my home equity for CPQ and Dell. I am thinking about Intel also but I will have to trade my warrants in for the stock pretty soon. My portfolio is down plenty because of the techs. But they will be there in the end. Here is an article you might have read already. Note the line that tech is the future.
