Good article!

One thing that needs to be taken with a small grain of salt:
if you are the market leader, and the market is developing exponentially (as is the case here), then you have more to lose than the smaller players involved in the catch-up game going on.

It's easier to grow 100% out of next to nothing, but it may well remain next to nothing in the big picture. I do agree though that CPQ has more to lose than to gain at present. If they don't remain on their toes, they will not have to wait long for the competition to come rushing in to cannibalise market share...
