Haven't caught up on all the posts yet... but, I think I'm see the fog in the trend data clearing a bit...

Doesn't take Karnak to predict that NOK is not going to wow with the numbers on Thursday...

What's been puzzling me about that is only that the magic soothsaying charts I use, for a long time already, have been pointing toward there being a "bottom" for NOK down around $1.80...

When I look at what they're doing in the business... I can't agree to validate the charted price predictions that my normal effort in TA would almost require me to trade. I think "the market" has been "targeting" a decline down to $1.80 for a trade-able bottom... and I think the market still just isn't close to prepared for the sort of news in the numbers that appears to be to be wholly inevitable Thursday, and over the next two quarters...

Will Elop have some magic trick up his sleeve ?

There's nothing to be done about the numbers... which leaves... ??? Some "other" sort of news ? What could possibly be big enough to arrest the market trends... based on NOK finding some renewed ability to instill confidence... that might convince the market that the future won't be as ugly and worse as the present clearly is ?

I can guess at a "rabbit" or two they might try to pull out of a hat... as I expect others here can.

I'm still left thinking the market is unlikely to see any such effort as anything other than desperation...

So, I think NOK is likely going to break through the chart support Thursday... or perhaps next week... with a realization beginning to creep in, even for those who are resistant to such things, when the numbers are there on a page, making it hard to ignore, that NOK is facing existential risks...

They clearly need a seasoned restructuring artist as a strategy leader NOW... someone whose done serious turnaround work in tech before... and succeeded in creating big ideas that work at pulling rabbits out of hats.

Unfortunately... there still no sign they will decide to do anything other than "stay the course"... until there no course left to be stayed...

I'm looking for another accelerated big move lower when it slips the support... and think it is likely we'll be talking about the battle over holding the $1 price point barrier soon enough...
