Well, as far as I can tell, Mac only users are SOL with the Nokia 808, as far a synch goes. Not happening. But I expected that, though I had to try, anyway.

So, moving on, nothing to see there.

Windows XP via Parallels Deskop 7 works like the charm. First I downloaded and installed iTunes, synched my iPhone with it, plugged in the Nokia 808 and viola! Baby asked me to download Nokia Suite which I did and found it to be nicely intuitive. Synched all my contacts, music, movies, photos. Now I'm installing maps for the US, Czech Republic and Germany, along with voice commands. That'll take a while. Then I'll put the sim card in and should be set to go.

So far, so good, except for the original hiccup of not being able to use it at all, and having to hard reset it, according to the instructions sylvester80 graciously provided. Thanks again for that!
