Our son took our DIL back east to visit relatives last summer. She just had to go to NYC and spend a week. She said she just knew she wanted to live there............it is such an exiting and cosmopolitan city. I told her a week was way to long to stay in NYC and that in the end she wouldn't want to live in NYC. No.........no..........she said...........no, I will want to live in NYC. So they go to NH and visit relatives there. Then they go to NYC and spend 5 days there, and then they go to NJ and visit relatives there, and then they go to Disney World for 4 days and have a blast. And when I picked them up at the airport I ask "so do you still want to live in NYC?" No........she says! It was a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. It is a crying shame how tv and magazines warp our children's minds.
