Actually, I think they complement each other very well
After one has been the most powerful person in the world errand boy for the post of post Obama President would hold little interest. Besides Clinton is getting old and his age would become an issue.

They do compliment each other quite well. Neither appears to have a lick of moral / ethical standards to weigh them down.
