TexasDude, where are you hearing that there is going to be a demo of XRL? I am under the impression that JMAR has given demos (privately) as they have progressed. Are you sure that JMAR would even make such events public given the competitive nature of Lithography? A lot of things are going on at JMAR (new developments) that they must keep under wraps because of competitive pressures. You should call the company and see if this demo will be made public rather than speculating as to the meaning of whether they do a demo or not. I for one am not going to flinch because of XRL. There are too many equally promising technologies coming online in 1998 to worry about XRL. Anyone making an investment decision soley on XRL is missing the point. I see XRL as a tantalizing home run, but other projects such as the LightKnife and Micromachining are equally promising.
