You and Lane are nuts. You believe in this mythical "free market" that doesn't exist. So you keep arguing around your fantasies, with these crazy hypotheticals. You both need to step back and look at reality. Humans have constructed a highly complex US medical system that doesn't work for many, and is obscenely expensive. It's not a mystery, it's all a mess. Humans are not always stupid, they can construct a better system. That's what Obama Care is attempting to do. It may fail or may work or some parts may work and some may fail (100% likely) and then with a little luck our stupid human leaders will have the wisdom to throw out the bad and keep the good. It's what we do, it's called progress. Hand wringing isn't helpful. We're moving forward with change. That's good.
