Not that I disagree, but what would be the economic consequences of your cuts? We're hooked on military spending. If you don't plow a lot of that money into something else (we know what those things are), more middle class jobs down the drain. We've dug ourselves into a big hole. Same with universal care, actually. Lotta people sitting at desks somewhere (India?) would lose their jobs to single payer.
