It's a good idea. It's helped in New York. In fact, I think we should have some sort of wealth tax to claw back the Bush tax cuts, which shouldn't have happened in the first place. We need to pay for vital government services. When people like Mitt Romney pay a 15% effective tax rate, that's a problem.

Taxes need to be higher. Period. And I have no problem with rolling back the Bush cuts on people with incomes under $250K -- it's not like they were lowered that much on them in the first place.
