You're right about the "today stories"......When I give talks to various groups, usually historical, I always put that note in that we as a generation are doing little to preserve our own history. SO finally, I decided I was gong to write "my story".....have a blue print book from a departed friend who wrote about her family, and life in a Nebraska Soddy when she was growing up. She included chapters about going to town and marketing, laundry day, ironing clothes, making clothes, chores around the farm through the various seasons, communication....or lack of it....the old wall telephone, the ice box, the cream and milk separator, etc etc etc.....She found lots of old pictures to go along with her stories....

Mine will be similar, but talk about the times I grew up in and stories about the surroundings....
