We couldn't afford this house today. We bot the land in 1976 and had the house built for $44,000. We bot it because it was cheap and we could afford it. We were quite a long ways away from the city.............closest town was 4-5 miles, but we had a grocery store and a PO and TruValue and a school..........what more did we need? Well.....................it was "discovered" and now it is one of THE places people want to live. City living country style. LOL
