Giving the go ahead to get Osama and the pirates should be proof enough that he is a leader. He did not have to depend on Congress for that decision.
Kudos' to O for that. The irritating fact of the matter was how Obama blew his own horn and, against Pannetta's request, announced Seal team 6 was involved. That cost lives later on.

The leadership failure is with the Republican leader of the Senate who demeaned his office by declaring on day 1 that his goal was to make sure Obama was a one termer. Americans expects him to say that his goal would be to work with the President to make sure "people got jobs."
As leader of the minority that is McConnell's job. GW had to put up with Pelosi, Waters & Co calling for his job the same way.. only they used the words traitor and liar. I would point to where hMcConnell asked to meet with Obama for the first 2 years and was shut out. The senate is controlled, and their agenda is set by Reid not McConnell. That is failure.

We can also talk about how Obama's budgets could not even garner a vote from his own party. Hell.. The Dem controlled Senate has not passed a budget in 3 years !

Lastly I would point out to you that the House GOP has sent over 40 pieces of legislation to the Senate.. allot dealing with jobs.. and Reid has not allowed a vote on any of them.
