That cost lives later on. Where did you get that? I haven't heard of any. And since when has Obama to listen to his staff. Isn't he the boss. If he let his cabinet have their ways, Osama would still be alive today. As leader of the minority that is McConnell's job. Is it his job to work with his colleagues and the President to create jobs or to oppose anything and everything including job creation bills so that he ensures the President is a one termer. Misplaced priorities on his part as well as you if you say he did the right thing. ....that the House GOP has sent over 40 pieces of legislation to the Senate How many were on social issues and how many were issues that would create jobs. I am sure you heard the phrase "Penny wise pound foolish" Doesn't matter if they sent 4 bills or 40 bills since all that matters is just one bill, the jobs bill. They killed that. If I had a choice, I would also prioritize passing the jobs bill over a budget. When there is no money, what good does a budget do.
