Then, if the focus addressed in justifying making that comparison is "the impact of a new ecosystem"... ? How do the numbers used... accomplish a "proof" ? Given NOK has already made it clear they've thrown that "old" OS out just after introducing it... how does it have any possible relevance in addressing what happens in the future ? Anyone seriously using that number... to argue that the number of Nokia products shipped to date... are a proof that the Windows BRAND is succeeding in generating ADDITIONAL appeal to consumers... meaning VALUE... because of the "ecosystem" benefits inherent in the OS ? LOL!!! I think that anyone saying that claim is supported by those numbers is lying...
