I'll try and find the specifics.

The Koch brothers said they are giving 400 million and Sheldon Adelson 100 million. There are something like 17 billionaires giving hundreds of millions (they met at a billionaires meeting in Texas recently. Karl roves group crpossroads will have hundreds of millions. There is some overlap with Koch brothers and Adelspon I think.

But increasing numbers of corporations and even foreign countries are contributing because it is good business. They certainly are not contribuiting to help the social contract.

Why not. Give a billion and get 10 billion back in congressional and legislative favors. How it works.
