Hmmm... how about reducing the ridiculous (and unhealthy) amount of beef consumed in the U.S.? How about eliminating subsidies for large cattle ranchers? Nah, could lose votes in the South... never mind that this is indeed a serious global problem. How come the "greatest nation on earth" has gone from being the environmentally most progressive industrial nation to the most retarded one? I used to think that it was due to Reagan/Bush, but the trend established then just seems to continue... - nic
