The Mid-West, in particular, will be hit the hardest. There is an article in the Seattle Times today about how the Apple growers in Central Washington will do very well because the drought has impacted the apple crop in Michigan and New York. Washington Wheat Farmers will do very well because of the impact on the corn crop in the MidWest. Washington exports a lot of hay to Asia. The Farm community in the Mid West will start to pay attention to global warming. There could be political impact in Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan etc.
