There are lots of heirlooms out of the cellular industry. What's on top today is clearance in 6 months. I don't know about promotional pricing but we paid a good price for our Lumia and the whole line wasn't overly promoted when we purchased. I suspect they are now being moved at a discount and will become clearance items when WP8 phones arrive in the fall. What is the basis for you believe that Nokia is that much different than the rest of the crowd? All handset makers are on an annual technology rollover cycle. Nokia has been battered and I have yet to study their balance sheet but to say they are toast because of a suspition of handset promotion accounting for good launch is rather supicious in itself. Do you have proof for your 1/2 price at launch claim?
