By the way, I don't think I mentioned that I have developed a real dislike of bicyclists. We encountered quite a few on our road trip through Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming earlier this month. On more than one occasion we came across idiots who were riding along around 10 mph two abreast on country roads. They don't seem to care whether it is a straight away with lots of passing room or a tight curve with no room to pass. Despite being approached by a large truck towing a 27' trailer, they often didn't move over to single file. Yes, they have the right to be on the road, but more often than not bicyclists act like they own the road. Some of them don't realize that in any interaction with a 3,000 pound vehicle (or more) they will always be on the losing end of the transaction. What really pisses me off is bike riders who don't abide by the rules of the road, yet they insist they have equal rights with cars and motorcyclists to use the roads.
