Considering this stock is in play I'd expect more activity on this thread.

I have only one question , what are the chances another higher bid coming along in the next 60 days ?

I think Boliden is committed to the takeover and they have purchased shares in the open market to increase their chances. The way I see it Boliden needs Westmin more that than Westmin needs Boliden.

This takeover is a asset play, it's cheaper to buy Westmin than drilling for reserves. The Chili copper property is a real gem and reserves have increased dramatically after this years drilling.

Also maybe Boliden (with their extensive refining experience) may know of a way to process the ore from the Wolverine property with it's high Selenium content. I don't think Wolverine is priced into Westmin shares at all. Look at Atna they went from 5.00 to 1.00 because Wolverine is a bust or is it?

I'll lose money if the 5.40 takeover goes through so taking profits now at 5.85 is not a lot better. I'll hold on for any chance of a better deal.

I should be happy the stock is up from 3.90 but as investors we always want to get back to our original investment at the very least. I'm hoping for 7.50 .

Cheers & good luck to all
