Even I, the most loyal Android fanboy, are getting excited for W8 and WP8 (and will be ordering a few Windows8 Surfaces and WP8 phones when released for the company). Having the same code base is going to be great for us developers. We will be porting our new touch enabled engineering software from W7 to W8 for release in late Q1/early Q2 2013. microsoft.com
